Knights Continue To Sink Sharks
The Golden Knights will try to beat the Sharks for the seventh straight time when the two teams do battle at T-Mobile Arena on Monday. Vegas has won five straight games and are closing in on the division-leading Avalanche, while the Sharks have fallen out of the playoff race amidst a five-game losing streak.
The Golden Knights are a much more confident team right now and are almost unbeatable in their own building. Vegas is 16-4-2 at T-Mobile Arena and got a big boost recently with the return of fans in the arena. The Sharks have visited this building 14 times since Vegas entered the league, but they’ve only managed to win in regulation once.

This matchup is as lopsided as it gets every way you look at it. The Golden Knights boast the fifth-ranked offense in the league and are facing the third-worst defensive team. Vegas also leads the league in goals against (2.19) and are being tasked with shutting down San Jose’s 25th-ranked offense.
The Golden Knights have hit on the puckline in four of their past five games, while the Sharks have covered the spread just once in their past five. Vegas loves feasting on San Jose in this one-sided rivalry, and they should have no problems continuing that dominance on home ice Monday evening.
Pick: Golden Knights -1.5 (+118)
Sens Cool Off Flames
The Senators will look to deal another blow to the Flames’ playoff chances when the two North Division clubs clash at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday. Ottawa is coming off a 4-0 shutout win over Montreal on Saturday, while the Flames’ last game was a 2-1 defeat to the Habs on Friday.
The Sens have gotten a boost with the call-up of Hobey Baker finalist Shane Pinto, who scored 15 goals in 32 games for UND this year. This young Ottawa squad is thriving against teams on the North Division playoff bubble, as they’ve won three straight against the Flames and two straight against Montreal.

The Flames have struggled to find their game despite a March coaching change, posting a 4-13-0 record in their past 17 games. They rank 24th in the NHL in offense (2.61 GF/GP) and are facing an Ottawa defense that just turned in one of its best defensive efforts of the season. The Sens held the Habs to only 23 shots and got a shutout from Matt Murray.
Calgary goaltender Jacob Markstrom is winless in his three starts against Ottawa this season, while Sens netminder Matt Murray is 3-2-0 against the Flames. The Sens have had no issues shutting down this Calgary offense and have a recipe for beating Markstrom, which gives them great underdog value Monday.
Pick: Senators ML (+180)
