Funfair Casino to enter iGaming arena

Ireland’s biggest land-based casino group, Funfair Casino, is expanding into iGaming having joined forces with online gambling solutions provider Aspire Global, in “a union that will provide great opportunities for both parties.”

Under the platform and managed services deal, the operator responsible for more than 25 gambling establishments across Ireland will leverage Aspire Global’s gateway AspireCore iGaming platform (PAM) to take its brick-and-mortar business online.

Comprehensive coverage:

Also part of the deal, FunFair Casino will benefit from the Malta-based firm‘s fully managed services, encompassing customer support, CRM (customer relationship management), fraud, risk management and VIP.

In its recent company press release, Aspire Global plc (ASPIRE.ST) said integration with its PAM and managed services will provide a “seamless omnichannel experience” for the operator’s new online customers as well as its existing players.

“Our search for a platform solution for Funfair was predicated on finding a partner that had the technology, expertise and product set to create a rich and seamless casino experience for our players,” Funfair Casino director, Philip O’Leary, said.

“Joining forces with a provider as renowned for these qualities as Aspire Global enables us to make progress in delivering a premium omnichannel operation,” he added.

Expansion efforts:

The new partnership that allows Funfair Casino to concentrate on growing its brands within the digital environment, is the latest in a series of deals for Aspire Global as it continues its expansion effort across Europe, Latin America and the United States, where it recently strengthened its foothold after its Pariplay brand signed an integration deal with UK-based sports betting software and trading services provider Amelco‘s North American arm.

Also commenting on the tie-up, Chief Executive Officer for Aspire Global, Tsachi Maimon said…

“Funfair has an established presence in the Irish casino market and we are looking forward to developing an online solution that presents its players with a great omnichannel experience, while helping to support its entry into the digital world for the first time.”

He added that the deal “constitutes an excellent example” of its PAM and fully Managed Services “being utilised to take a land-based operator online,” and is “a union that will provide great opportunities for both parties.”

Aspire Pariplay business:

As mentioned, the deal comes on the heels of the Sliema-headquartered firm’s Pariplay US iGaming rollout that sees sports betting software specialist Amelco integrate the leading aggregator and content provider’s premium Fusion platform, which offers more than 12,000 games from top-tier global suppliers, into its full-service offering.

Through the partnership, Amelco also gains access to Pariplay’s top proprietary titles, including the fantasy-themed, Dragons of the North, and other best performers Mystery Fox and Stallion Fortunes.
