#7 Ohio State goes into Iowa City and knocks off #8 Iowa, 89-85. The Buckeyes don’t have a “star”, but they do have a great TEAM (six consecutive wins vs top 10 opponents).

Maryland’s Offense Disappears
Perhaps Ohio State’s defense will serve as medicine for Maryland, which is coming off its worst offensive game of the season in a 55-50 loss at Penn State on Friday as a three-point underdog.
It wasn’t pretty
This is horrendous basketball so far. Penn State up on Maryland 7-6 and teams shooting combined 5-of-23.

Maryland held Ohio State to 31.3% in the first game. The Terrapins had won seven of the previous eight in the series before losing in Columbus despite 16 points from Ayala.
Playing road favorites in college basketball can be dangerous at times. However, Ohio State has proven it is comfortable away from Columbus and should handle Maryland after beating more difficult competition on the road.
