Playtech has extended its existing partnership with leading Central and Eastern European gaming and sports betting operator Fortuna in the Czech Republic, news emerged this week.
Under the terms of a recently extended deal between the two companies, Playtech will launch end-user versions of its Native Casino app with Fortuna to enhance the operator’s Czech offering with a wide range of slots games.
News about the expanded agreement between Playtech and Fortuna emerge shortly after the operator completed the migration of its sportsbook in Poland onto Playtech’s IMS platform. That happened after Fortuna’s Slovakia- and Czech Republic-facing omni-channel sportsbooks had successfully migrated onto Playtech’s platform. Further sports betting integrations are planned for Romania and Croatia.
Playtech’s Native Casino app is fully customizable and offers an option for operators to add extra sections and promotions to the home screen. The app offers support in 24 languages and is built to comply with a wide range of regulatory environments. More languages and regulation-focused improvements are planned to be added to the solution, which was first introduced to the market back in 2016 and has been deployed by a number of tier-one digital gambling operators since then.
Delighted to Support Fortuna CZ’s Casino Portfolio
The launch of a Fortuna-branded version of Playtech’s Native Casino app in the Czech market expands the omni-channel solution the technology provider created for the gambling operator’s Czech business earlier this year.
The addition of the app, which is available both on Android and iOS devices, significantly adds to the casino games Fortuna CZ already offers to its Czech players. The app includes hit Playtech slots such as Buffalo Blitz, Ways of the Phoenix, and White King as well as some of the company’s most popular roulette and blackjack games.
The provision of an all-native lobby and content aims to prevent hosting issues that can otherwise occur with wrapper-based products.
Commenting on their expanded partnership with Fortuna CZ, Playtech Program Manager Anton Golikov said that they are delighted to be supporting the expansion of the operator’s casino games portfolio and that they have worked closely with Fortuna’s team to “deliver bespoke versions of our Native Casino app to a robust timescale.”
David Vozábal, Group Head of Product Development at Fortuna, said that they have been delighted with the quick progress of the Native Casino app project and the end result. Mr. Vozábal also noted that tackling potential technical restraints would open up a truly native experience for their players.
James Frendo, Director of Casino at Playtech, added that since the introduction of Playtech’s omni-channel casino solution for Fortuna in the operator’s core Czech market earlier in 2020, their partnership has gone from strength to strength and that they are pleased to have their Native Casino app in place so quickly.
