Wind Creek Bethlehem, one of Pennsylvania’s more than a dozen land-based casinos, has recently bolstered its iGaming offering with the addition of industry leading games from Scientific Games’ OpenGaming ecosystem.
As part of an ongoing relationship between the casino and the gambling software provider, Wind Creek has integrated a number of titles from OpenGaming’s ever-growing portfolio that includes proprietary online slots as well as titles from third-party game makers.
Wind Creek is located in the Pennsylvania City of Bethlehem. The casino is owned and operated by Wind Creek Hospitality, the gaming and hospitality arm of Alabama-based Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
The brick-and-mortar property went live with iGaming in the summer of 2020. Its platform became the 11th online casino in the Keystone State following the legalization of online gaming and sports betting. Wind Creek had chosen Pala Interactive as its Internet casino partner.
And as part of its effort to expand into the newly regulated segments of the state’s gambling industry, the casino had also teamed up with Scientific Games and UK bookmaker Betfred to tap into sports betting.
Wind Creek launched its Betfred-operated retail sportsbook in the fall of 2020 and debuted a digital wagering operation shortly after.
Enhancing Online Casino Product
Through its partnership with Scientific Games, Wind Creek has now been able to enhance its online gaming product as well. The casino has successfully integrated the likes of 88 Fortunes, Raging Rhino, and Dancing Drums, among other popular slot titles, to its platform and the games are now available to its players from around Pennsylvania.
Scientific Games’ OpenGaming ecosystem currently comprises more than 3,000 games, including ones built in-house and titles developed by a wide-range of third-party industry providers.
Commenting on their latest news, Wind Creek Chief Marketing Officer Ken Rohman said that their happy to be enhancing their “robust online casino operations” and that they look forward to inviting players from the Keystone State to their expanded digital offering.
Cathryn Lai, SVP and General Manager, US, Digital at Scientific Games added that they are thrilled to part of Wind Creek’s “gaming journey evolution” by helping the casino bring additional iGaming content.
