Timeform pick out the best bets at Kempton on Wednesday.
“…strongly fancied to resume winning ways…”
Timeform on Goldie Hawk
Willyorwon’t He – 17:25 Kempton
Willyorwon’t He remains a maiden but is proving progressive, losing out only to a three-year-old on a sharper upward curve at Doncaster last time. That was a well-run handicap which looks solid form, so a subsequent 1 lb rise in the weights is more than fair, and Willyorwon’t He faces an easier task down in grade here.
Goldie Hawk – 19:35 Kempton
Goldie Hawk was very progressive last season, rattling off a quick hat-trick which included a win over this course and distance. She was well backed and proved better than ever when narrowly denied at Windsor on her return last month, headed only in the final 50 yards. That was her first run for seven months, so she is entitled to be sharper now, and is strongly fancied to resume winning ways.
Paxos – 20:05 Kempton
Paxos was well back to open his account over this trip at Chelmsford last month and progressed again when following up over this course and distance last time, easily getting to the lead around a furlong out and stuck to the task well in the closing stages. He is very much on the progressive path now and is fully expected to complete a hat-trick.
